The perfect mix of movement & relaxation

Hannah

I am so glad I signed up! The sessions are a perfect combination of movement and relaxation, reminding me that I can still use my body into the final months of pregnancy, whilst also taking some time to connect with my baby and prepare for labour.

Amazing!

Grounding, informative and relaxing

Komal

Amelie's warmth, expertise and kindness make her classes informative, grounding and, above all, light-hearted and relaxing at a time when everything's changing. My only regret is not having started sooner!

The Pregnancy Yoga Collection

Hello, I'm Amelie

I'm a perinatal yoga specialist, a doula, a mum to two growing children, and the sole face behind First to Fourth, which was born at the same time of my first child. It is my own experience of pregnancy, birth and early motherhood and how yoga deeply helped me feel calmer, at ease and confident in my body's amazing abilities at this huge time of transformation that spurred to become a pregnancy & postnatal teacher then a doula and support other mums and mums-to-be like you along that rollercoaster ride of a journey!

FAQ

  • I've never done yoga. Are the classes suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! The classes don't include any 'yoga jargon' and walk you through essential guidance to make your practice safe, accessible, comfortable and enjoyable!

  • Can I really practice from the first trimester of pregnancy?

Unless you have been advised otherwise by your medical team, these classes are gentle enough to practice from early pregnancy, and will give you great alignment and awareness foundations to carry through your whole pregnancy. There are always plenty of opportunities to take rest, and all classes include a breathing practice and a relaxation practice, which might be all you feel like if you are feeling nauseous or exhausted.

  • Do I need any special equipment?

No, I recommend you have a yoga mat as a padded and non-slippery surface, as well as a blanket for extra padding or support your seat (a block or a cushion work well too), and all the props you fancy to be comfortable in relaxation! There are two classes in the collection exploring special props: a pregnancy/birth ball class, and a chair-based class (an everyday dining chair works best).

  • What are the videos like?

All videos in the collection are recordings of classes that I gave live in the past couple of years, from my home. They are of the exact same style, and convey the same information, guidance and practices that you would benefit from my in-person classes. The videos might not look 'glitzy' or hyper-polished in style (no pro lighting, multiple cameras of fake bumps were involved!), but the contents are none the lesser in their quality. So you can best see for yourself what you're purchasing , you can access one short & one full-length previews for free, and see if this works for you :-)

  • Is this a subscription service?

No, access to the collection is through a one-time payment only, giving you lifetime unlimited access
